April 2026: This month sees the transition of The Incredibly Useful Company Limited (TIUCL) to The Incredibly Useful Company (TIUC), or more formally, Craig Stevens T/A TIUC. Time catches up with all of us and it's time to reduce workloads and do other things, but as I want to keep my hand in, so to speak, I'll be looking after a few clients from the Ltd. Co. under new terms.
Jun 2025: Finally upgraded the Myerscough College and University Centre sites from Umbraco V7 to V13. It was a challenging upgrade given the extremely tight timescale. As the college was changing to a new course requirements system, we also had to come up with a creative method to import courses into the site.
Jun 2024: We have recently assisted Cleopatra Consultants Ltd as Umbraco specialist architecting, building and publishing a new site for The Hire Guide.com Ltd: marqueehireguide.com Several months of work have resulted in the given new site design having much faster performance, improved member application flow and a much happier editing team. We wish the site owners well in their mission to improve business with their new website.
Jan 2024: Completed site migrations to Umbraco 13, the current Long Term Supported version, for Bournemouth Student Lettings and Stewarts Estates. Properties are imported from their respective internal IT systems at regular intervals or on demand. The new upgrade enables the sites to perform much quicker than before and with improved manageability.
